Testimonies

We had a wonderful weekend praising God, sharing everyone’s thought, making new

friends, and enjoying the presence of the Lord our God. It give us a much needed chance to relax and refresh.

It was my first time at Prayer mountain and It was amazing being one of the audience to witness their testimony. I’ve been a Christian all of my life but I never had an experience like this before. One of my mate testify, he’s not a Christian yet and he is a call center worker. Our Pastors reached his friends through gathering like Bible study. He thought before Christian life is boring, Bible study is boring but during and right after our activities there was a

tremendous changes in his perception. He also said, ” I have different gadgets, I could buy

John 3.16

many things but why it didn’t occur to me to buy a Bible ever since? why because it’s not trending? it’s boring? I was just reminded about why I didn’t even think about it”. It felt so great witnessing how the the Holy spirit touches their hearts proclaiming that we are not alone in spite of all circumstances that come in our way. God is always there for us just like Hebrew 13:5 says “I will never leave you nor forsake you”. After the gathering we started packing and went back home with full of happiness in our hearts that God touches the heart of the newly born Christian.

The day they came to Christ, GOD cancelled all their past and has called them to run a new race with Christ. As a youth, both books of Timothy are of very much help. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. (Hebrews 10:39) So, stand firm, and don’t look back. Their testimonies  isn’t about just being saved. It is also about choosing to make Jesus Lord. Freedom and fulfillment both start and are sustained by pursing Jesus, with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. He does all the rest.
