About the place
Bread of Life Ministries International (BOLMI, simply known as BOL) is an Evangelical megachurch founded by Rev. Caesar “Butch” L. Conde. Its second senior pastor is Rev. Noel Tan. As of 2012, more than 35,000 people attend the worship services in all BOL satellite outreaches, its mission and vision is to “Stabilize and expand what it has learned from God in prayer and the Word of God and to pass it on to other people, and also the beginning of revival in the country”, which is inspired by Acts 1:8. Its ministry of intensifying and deepening the prayer lives of the Filipino Christians through fasting. Today it continues as a place dedicated to restoration in prayer and has become a haven for believers from different churches and denominations to pray for the Philippines, Touch of Glory Prayer Mountain is located in Antipolo City,Rizal, an hour away from Manila.
In the Philippines, Bread of Life Ministries International led by its senior pastor Butch Conde drew inspiration from his Korea Prayer Study Tour and the Prayer Mountain experiences in South Korea to acquire a piece of land in the mountains to build the country’s and Southeast Asia’s first Prayer Mountain facility located in Antipolo City, it was called “Touch of Glory Prayer Mountain“, where many Protestant groups and Christian denomination attended to the Prayer Mountain every month.
We had a wonderful weekend praising God, sharing everyone’s thought, making new
friends, and enjoying the presence of the Lord our God. It give us a much needed chance to relax and refresh.
It was my first time at Prayer mountain and It was amazing being one of the audience to witness their testimony. I’ve been a Christian all of my life but I never had an experience like this before. One of my mate testify, he’s not a Christian yet and he is a call center worker. Our Pastors reached his friends through gathering like Bible study. He thought before Christian life is boring, Bible study is boring but during and right after our activities there was a
tremendous changes in his perception. He also said, ” I have different gadgets, I could buy
many things but why it didn’t occur to me to buy a Bible ever since? why because it’s not trending? it’s boring? I was just reminded about why I didn’t even think about it”. It felt so great witnessing how the the Holy spirit touches their hearts proclaiming that we are not alone in spite of all circumstances that come in our way. God is always there for us just like Hebrew 13:5 says “I will never leave you nor forsake you”. After the gathering we started packing and went back home with full of happiness in our hearts that God touches the heart of the newly born Christian.
The day they came to Christ, GOD cancelled all their past and has called them to run a new race with Christ. As a youth, both books of Timothy are of very much help. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. (Hebrews 10:39) So, stand firm, and don’t look back. Their testimonies isn’t about just being saved. It is also about choosing to make Jesus Lord. Freedom and fulfillment both start and are sustained by pursing Jesus, with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. He does all the rest.
How would you know that you are saved? Bible says “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”(Romans 10:9). Confess your sins, accept Him as your Savior and live like HIM.
I wanted to share some of my practice. I always think that in any time Jesus might come and I don’t even care if signs aren’t happening at all yet referring to the scripture. But now signs reveals itself. I know, we know that there will be saved and not or left after the rapture. Come prepared everyday! I am reading the Bible wanted to read all books under it because there will come a time false Prophets will come and they will deceive many. “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. (Matthew 14:4-5).
Don’t even say that, oh Jesus might come soon anyway so I will stop working. Continue doing whatever you’re in (if it is legal and acceptable by God) besides you might be the light of the darkest part of where you are right now. Question is Do you think your light is open?
There are many things to do though how to save your soul. Sometimes we just lack of knowledge. People around us has a huge influence of our daily routine. Today’s trend is if you’re not part of their group you’re not cool. It is not being so cool with other people that you might even forget what is right or wrong and without knowing your purpose in life that you just enjoy every single step of you life with them. It’s not too late for us to change and to accept Him in our lives. You just have to give Him your time if you wanted Him to give time for you too. I suggest you to go with people who has Jesus in their hearts. Keep yourself prepared everyday.
Examine yourself to see whether you are in the faith. 2 Corinthians 13:5.
Blesses is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near (Rev 1:3)
Bitterness is also known in the Bible as spiritual poison.
Do you feel great having this feeling not to let yourself free from bitterness and not forgiving others? I guess not. I know, we know it is not easy for us to forgive especially if they mean it. Bible says “For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins” (Matthew 6:14,15).
“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” (Ephesians 4:31,32).
“The scripture tells us that many are defiled by the means of bitterness. Bitterness can be tricky to recognize because it’s not a symptom or visible on the surface like anger usually is. Many claim that they aren’t an angry or hateful person, but that’s not what bitterness is all about. Bitterness is an underlying problem that doesn’t always manifest on the outside, but dwells in that person’s system.
Whether bitterness is manifest on the outside or not does not matter. Due to the nature of bottled up feelings and emotions, they are not always made noticeable on the surface, but that by no means discounts the fact that they are there. If there is a root of bitterness, it needs to be cut off at the root and removed from one’s soul. We need to make a choice to release all hurt and bottled up feelings inside our systems, and repent for holding that poison in our hearts. Turn from those feelings and forsake them, and allow the Lord’s love to minister to your soul!”
Let Him have the room to repay those who wrong us. Romans 12:19, “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”
Yes, it is a relief to ask somebody about your feelings and tell everything to them what had just happened but It is not necessary to get a company to understand you and get their emotions to hate also the person that you hated. Bible says, 1 Timothy 4:12 “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.”
I wanted to share what Bible says please have time to read.
“Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord. On the contrary: ‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.’ Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good” (Romans 12:14-21).
How To Be Free From Bitterness and Resentment
Life depression and other emotional stress, bitterness and resentment can aggravate or cause physical problems such as arthritis. You can be affected mentally, spiritually and otherwise. Your relationships will always suffer.
God can free you from this sin. It is an oppressive and destructive emotion having its root in hate, which is likened to murder. You must repent. No one can have peace and happiness with such emotions tearing at him. If you have not done so, ask God to forgive you and to come into your life right now. He will deliver you from the power of the enemy (Psalm 91:3).
If you are already a Christian, you should still ask God to forgive you for being bitter and resentful. Then ask Him to forgive anyone who may have hurt you, and toward whom you are bitter or resentful, even as He forgives you.
Seek to be baptized with the Holy Spirit if you are not already. Look for opportunities to demonstrate love to the person who offended you.
God forgives and forgets sin. However, you may have made your best effort to forgive and forget and find that you cannot. God can help you to cleanse your memory. Instead of remembering with malice and hurt, remember with forgiveness. Then go one step further and ask God to forgive your offender. By forgiving and then asking God to forgive your offender, you release God to bless you and the other person.
As You Pray
Pray in this manner:
Father, I acknowledge that I’ve held resentment and bitterness against _______________. I confess this as sin and ask you to forgive me. I forgive __________________. Remind me, Lord, to not hold any more resentments, but rather to love this person. Father, I ask you to also forgive ______________________.
Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
I just love this message from Rev. Joey Crisostomo
One of the greatest blessings enjoyed by Christians in this life is the privilege of PRAYER, by which we can approach God through prayer. In the Bible, Jesus made this tremendous promise, “And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive” (Matt 21:22).
However, despite the Lord’s willingness to answer prayer, it is obvious that some prayers have gone unanswered. Why is this? The following are the most common reasons why some prayers do not get results:
• Prayerlessness is one reason prayer is not answered. God cannot and will not answer a prayer that is not prayed!
• Most prayers remain unanswered because they remain unasked. The prayer and the burden are in our head, but they are never offered to the Lord in prayer.
• SOMEONE ONCE SAID… There is no substitute for prayer – Not eloquence, effort, energy, enthusiasm or intellect.
2. WRONG MOTIVES…James 4:3 “You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.”
Our motives in our prayer requests are of concern to the Lord. He wishes to help us in our time of need, but is not obligated to answer prayers which will merely feed our carnal, worldly appetites and (lustful) pleasures. Our motives and desires can be corrected by humbling ourselves, and drawing near to God (James 4:8-10).
3. UNCONFESSED SIN … 1 Peter 3:12 “For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.”
There is no doubt that sin will disrupt the flow of God’s blessings and answers to prayer. The psalmist, David wrote, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear” (Psa. 66:18). All acts of rebellion and disobedience to God is considered sin. Sins of “commission,” are those overt acts which are done in disobedience. However, sins of “omission,” are those things we don’t do in obedience, but know we should (James 4:17). The remedy for all sin is to confess it to God, forsake it, and ask Him to forgive you (1 John 1:9).
4. LACK OF DETERMINATION…Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”
Probably the greatest reason that some prayers go unanswered is because many give-up praying and believing before they receive their answer. As long as we have the promise of God’s Word, be patient and persistent – keep believing, and don’t quit, no matter how long it takes! God has a “due season” when He will bring the answer to pass.
5. LACK OF FAITH …Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Prayers are hindered by lack of faith. God demands that we shall believe His Word absolutely. To question it is to make Him a liar. We cannot please God without faith. Prayer is not merely “begging” from God. It is “believing” God and His Word! Faith will come forth and grow as we devote our attention to the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Our faith can also be “built up,” by praying in the Holy Spirit (Jude 1:20).
6. NOT ASKING IN GOD’S WILL …1 John 5:14-15 “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”
God will only answer those prayers that are in “His” will. When we ask anything that is in His will, we can have assurance that those “petitions” (requests) are granted to us. God’s will is revealed through His Word, the Bible. Anything promised by His Word is His will, and we can be confident that He’ll honor our prayers based on His Word.
7. UNFORGIVENESS …Jesus said, “When you stand praying, If you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive your sins.” (Mark 11:25
Jesus said, “If you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” (Matt 6;14)
We must root out all bitterness, resentment and hatred before we expect our prayers to be answered. When you pray, it is meaningful only if we are free from bitterness, hatred and resentment.
James 5:16- The fervent, effectual, energeo prayer of the righteous man avails much.
A very best way to begin the day is to read the Bible. We should read and study the Bible because it is God’s Word to us. It is the Book of Light, Life, Salvation, Spiritual growth, Comfort and Hope. “The Words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63)
When you have read the Bible, you will know that It is the Word of God because you will found out that it is the key to your own heart, your own happiness and your own duty.
Try to memorize for at least 1 verse a day. It will help you to go deeper and understand what it says. So when you speak the word to people you can stand for the truth. Remember the scripture what the LORD Almighty says: “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD” (Jeremiah 23:16). If you knew His word you will find the truth and no one could ever blame you. Time will come and they will as what scriptures says. “For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect–if that were possible.” (Mark 13:22)
If you stand for HIM you will find true life!
“If any one of you wants to be My follower, you must put aside your selfish ambition, shoulder your cross and follow Me. If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for My sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will find true life” (Matthew 16:24-25)
I suggest you to watch the movie “Faith like Potatoes” one of my favorite movie that will inspire you and will increase your faith. Trust me!
This inspiring true story of a rugged South African farmer, Angus Buchan, is set in the turbulent hills of the KZN Midlands. Angus’ manic quest for material success is slowly transformed into a wild love for God and people, as he wrestles with faith, hope, natural disasters and tragic personal loss.
If you’ve been touched by this message I wanted you to say a little prayer.
Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. But I believe that you died upon the cross for me. That you shed your precious blood, for the forgiveness of my sin. And I believe that on the third day you rose into heaven to prepare a place for me. I accept you now as my Savior, my Lord, my God, my friend. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and set me free from my sin. And, because you are my Savior, Jesus, I “shall not die, but have everlasting life”.
“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”(Romans 10:9).
